Built Around
Craftsmanship.
We are a Johannesburg-based thatching company focused on creating, repairing and restoring beautiful thatched structures with care, skill and attention to detail.
Thatching Is Not Just
Construction. It's A Craft.
At Ndex Thatch, we take pride in the details that turn an ordinary structure into something distinctive.
Our team works across Johannesburg and Gauteng on residential, commercial and leisure projects, delivering new thatch roofs, lapas, re-thatching, roof repairs, maintenance and specialist roof solutions.
We believe a well-finished thatch roof should not only perform properly — it should complement the architecture, landscape and character of the property around it.
We Care About
The Final Result.
Craftsmanship
Thatching demands patience, precision and experience. Every roof line, edge, ridge and finish contributes to the quality of the completed structure.
Quality Materials
A good roof starts with good materials. We use suitable thatching materials selected for strength, appearance and long-term performance.
Practical Solutions
Every property and roof is different. We assess the structure, understand what is required and recommend a practical solution for the job.
Client Service
Clear communication matters. We aim to make the process simple, from the first enquiry through to completion of the work.
Work That Looks
As Good As It Performs.
We believe the best thatching work should feel like it belongs to the property.
That means paying attention not only to the technical side of the roof, but also to its proportions, curves, ridge details, finishing and overall visual balance.
Whether the project is a substantial residence, a lodge-style structure, a lapa or a repair to an existing roof, our aim is always the same: deliver work we are proud to put our name on.
